Private Tutor Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault on Teenage Girl

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped several times by her private tutor, Afzal, police said on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old accused, Afzal, was arrested on Tuesday. Additional Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik revealed that Afzal used to visit the girl's house for religious teaching sessions.

The family discovered the abuse only two days ago after the girl expressed her unwillingness to continue lessons. Upon questioning, she confided in her mother about the assaults.

An FIR was filed based on the complaint and Afzal was immediately arrested and sent to jail. A detailed investigation is ongoing.
