Mahmood Khan Achakzai, leader of the Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), has criticized the lack of accountability in the wake of violence against innocent citizens. Speaking at a peace jirga organized by his party in Loralai, Achakzai condemned the persistent terror attacks across Pakistan and slammed state institutions for their failure to hold perpetrators accountable.

The opposition alliance leader decried what he sees as the erosion of civil liberties under the guise of security, emphasizing the need for Pakhtun unity. He condemned violence against coal miners despite security presence and criticized the superficial response to the Quetta Railway Station bombing. Achakzai argued that the government's approach fails to tackle the roots of terrorism.

He voiced frustration over military involvement in politics, pointing out constitution violations by officials holding political jirgas. Achakzai questioned intelligence operations as security forces often seem unaware of major attacks, some targeting themselves. He accused agencies of surveilling government critics over real security threats, advocating for ethnic unity and autonomy.
