A fire erupted Thursday at a paper cardboard factory in Foundry Nagar, Agra, prompting a swift response from local fire officials. Fortunately, the situation was rapidly contained, and no injuries were reported.
Fire Service Officials from Shastipuram, led by Amartya Nipal, confirmed the fire was under control. 'We received the call about the factory fire, and by 12:22, dispatched three fire engines from Sanjhepal, two from Idgah, a water bowser, and an additional large vehicle from Shastipuram,' Nipal stated. 'The operation prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring factories.'
The factory specializes in manufacturing mattresses, sewing boxes, and various-sized cartons. Investigations are ongoing to understand the cause of the fire, with further details awaited.
