In a historic bike expedition, armed forces from India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka will traverse the Buddhist Circuit this October. The journey, organized by the three nations and the Royal Thai Monastery, will begin in Lumbini, Nepal, and conclude in Colombo, Sri Lanka, aiming to trace the footsteps of enlightenment.

'This is a historic venture for India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. The Buddha Circuit bike expedition begins in Lumbini and covers seven Indian states before reaching Colombo,' stated Rahul Patil, co-convener of the Heartfulness Buddha Circuit Ride, in an exclusive interview with ANI. Patil also mentioned that the Indian Navy would assist in crossing the Indian Ocean en route to Sri Lanka, where the bikers will be welcomed by the Sri Lankan Prime Minister.

The expedition, featuring 21 bikers from the security forces of the three nations, will kick off in the second week of October and conclude by the first week of November. It will traverse major Buddhist sites, with ceremonies in each Indian state, and end with a closing event in Colombo, graced by the President of Sri Lanka.
