Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Malaysian counterpart, Anwar Ibrahim, have firmly condemned terrorism, urging nations to reject it in all its manifestations. The two leaders stressed that no country should provide sanctuary to terrorists and agreed to bring culprits to justice in line with domestic and international law.

The bilateral meeting on Tuesday at Hyderabad House focused on enhancing India-Malaysia relations across various sectors. PM Modi announced the elevation of ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, reflecting the agreement to counter terrorism and transnational crime through stronger cooperation.

The meeting also fostered discussions on advancing defense cooperation, technology, climate change initiatives, and more. The leaders signed numerous Memoranda of Understanding and celebrated Malaysia's decision to join the International Big Cat Alliance, setting the stage for future collaborations. Anwar Ibrahim's visit marks an essential step in the evolving partnership between India and Malaysia.
