India, Malaysia Forge Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Amid Strong Anti-Terror Stance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Malaysian counterpart, Anwar Ibrahim, issued a strong condemnation of terrorism and urged nations worldwide to reject it unequivocally during their bilateral talks on Tuesday.
The leaders underscored that no nation should harbor terrorists and agreed to expedite justice for perpetrators, aligning with both domestic and international laws.
The joint statement emphasized enhancing cooperation against terrorism by sharing information and best practices. Modi announced elevated ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, highlighting deepening collaboration in defence, security, technology, and climate efforts, alongside MoUs to bolster cooperation in various fields.
