NATO members reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen Ukraine's defences at a recent meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council, according to a statement released on Wednesday. The council brings together representatives from Ukraine and NATO's Western military alliance.
In a statement, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg highlighted Ukraine's daily efforts to intercept Russian missiles, noting that these actions save countless lives. However, he stressed that Ukraine's ability to maintain its defenses hinges on increased supply and support from NATO allies.
Following the latest Russian assault, NATO allies have pledged to step up their military aid. 'We must continue to provide Ukraine with the equipment and munitions it needs to defend itself against Russia's invasion. This is vital for Ukraine's ability to stay in the fight,' Stoltenberg asserted.
