Hospitals across Rajasthan, including five in Jaipur, experienced bomb threat scares on Sunday. The threats, later confirmed as hoaxes, prompted bomb disposal squads to secure the premises. The emails alleged bombs were hidden under hospital beds and in bathrooms.
Targeted facilities in Jaipur included Monilek, C.K Birla, Manas, Apex, and Rungta Hospitals. Police are tracing the sender's IP with cyber experts' assistance, after confirming no suspicious items were found, said Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Kunwar Rashtradeep.
The email warned, 'I placed the bomb in the hospital building... None of you will escape.' Similar hoax threats were reported in malls and schools in Delhi NCR earlier this year.
