Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, alongside devoted followers, engaged in ceremonial worship at the historically significant Dhari Devi Temple located in Pauri Garhwal district on Thursday. The Chief Minister petitioned the revered Maa Dhari Devi for the well-being and prosperity of Uttarakhand's residents.
This remarkable temple is famed for its enigmatic idol that metamorphoses throughout the day—from a youthful girl in the morning to a young adult by afternoon and an elderly woman by evening. Such phenomena contribute to the allure of this sacred site.
Dhari Devi, an incarnation of Goddess Kali, is esteemed as the guardian deity of Uttarakhand and is venerated as the protector of the Char Dhams. During his visit, the Chief Minister was observed engaging with the numerous devotees present, strengthening communal ties through shared spiritual devotion.
