In a bid to address the alarming sinking of the historic Bhimakali Temple, experts from the prestigious IIT Mandi have been enlisted to investigate the cause, Himachal Pradesh's minister Vikramaditya Singh declared on Thursday.

The public works minister emphasized that no construction or repair activities should commence until the experts deliver their detailed report, a directive he issued during a meeting of the Bhimakali Temple Trust held in Rampur.

Adding to the discussions, the trust revealed financial figures detailing an income of Rs 3.97 crore and expenditure of Rs 83.81 lakh this year, alongside deposits of Rs 6.96 crore in various banks.
