Bengaluru Police Arrest Four Women In Rs 17.5 Lakh Silk Saree Theft
Bengaluru Police have arrested four women involved in the theft of 38 silk sarees worth Rs 17.5 lakhs from a JP Nagar shop. Shop staff and a police investigation revealed their involvement in similar thefts. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend their two accomplices.

Bengaluru Police have apprehended four women in connection with the theft of 38 silk sarees, valued at approximately Rs 17.5 lakhs, from a shop in the JP Nagar area.
According to Police Commissioner B. Dayananda, the women, accompanied by two others, attempted to divert the shop workers' attention to steal nearly 18 sarees. Their suspicious behaviour led the shop staff to question them, eventually uncovering their criminal activities.
Further investigation revealed the women's involvement in similar thefts across JP Nagar and Jayanagar, resulting in the recovery of the stolen sarees. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the two other suspects.
