Tragic Explosion in Firozabad: Five Dead and Eleven Injured

In a tragic incident, five individuals, including two children and a woman, lost their lives following an explosion at a firecracker godown-cum-factory in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. Authorities confirmed the deaths and stated that eleven others were injured in the blast.
Circle Officer Shikohabad Praveen Tiwari told PTI that the explosion occurred in Naushera under the Shikohabad police station limits. The deceased have been identified as Meera Devi (45), Aman (20), Gautam Kushwaha (18), and Kumari Ichha (3), with one child's identity yet to be ascertained.
Local law enforcement and fire department teams, supported by district administration officials, have been diligent in their relief efforts. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the administration to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured and expedite rescue operations.
