AM Green Ammonia B.V., a venture initiated by the founders of Greenko Group, announced on Tuesday that it has finalized its investment decision for a green ammonia project in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
Although financial details remain undisclosed, the final investment decision signifies the initiation of construction and other project-related activities.
The company, established by Greenko Group founders Anil Chalamalasetty and Mahesh Kolli, is set to develop one of the world's largest green ammonia platforms, with initial production beginning in the second half of 2026.
