AM Green Ammonia B.V. Advances with Major Green Ammonia Project in Andhra Pradesh

AM Green Ammonia B.V., initiated by the founders of Greenko Group, has reached its final investment decision for a significant green ammonia project in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. The project aims to produce 1 million tonnes of green ammonia annually, with plans to increase to 5 million tonnes by 2030.

AM Green Ammonia B.V., a venture initiated by the founders of Greenko Group, announced on Tuesday that it has finalized its investment decision for a green ammonia project in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.

Although financial details remain undisclosed, the final investment decision signifies the initiation of construction and other project-related activities.

The company, established by Greenko Group founders Anil Chalamalasetty and Mahesh Kolli, is set to develop one of the world's largest green ammonia platforms, with initial production beginning in the second half of 2026.
