Himachal CM Inaugurates Rs 23.20 Crore Development Projects in Solan

Himachal Pradesh CM Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated multiple development projects worth Rs 23.20 crore in Solan. Projects include school buildings, administrative blocks, and parking facilities. Sukhu also paid tribute to Rajiv Gandhi on his birth anniversary.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated eight development projects totaling Rs 23.20 crore for Solan district on Tuesday during a one-day tour. Among the projects are a newly constructed Rs 3.19 crore building for Government Senior Secondary School Kothi Deora (Ghatti), a Rs 3.30 crore administrative block building for SCERT, Solan, and a Rs 7.51 crore building for Jogindra Central Cooperative Bank, Solan. The CM also dedicated a petrol pump of the H.P Police Welfare Association in Solan.

Sukhu laid foundation stones for several projects including a Rs 75 lakh Landslide Mitigation and Flood Management scheme in Rural Residential Sadhupul, a Rs 3 crore landslide and flood management project in Solan district's Shamti area, a Rs 2.67 crore parking facility near the Fire Department building, and a Rs 2.80 crore parking lot near Thodo ground. Additionally, he launched a new logo for the Jogindra Central Co-operative Bank in Solan.

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister, accompanied by cabinet colleagues and the state Congress president, paid tribute to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his 80th birth anniversary. The tribute ceremony took place at Rajiv Chowk in Chhota Shimla, marking the occasion of Sadbhavana Diwas across the state.
