Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai Offers Prayers at Mahakaleshwar Temple on Savan's Last Monday
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai offered prayers at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on the final Monday of Savan, coinciding with the Raksha Bandhan festival. He prayed for the peace and prosperity of Chhattisgarh. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was also present.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai marked the last Monday of the holy month of Savan with prayers at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, coinciding with the celebration of Raksha Bandhan.
"Today is the last day of Savan. It is Raksha Bandhan as well. We have come here to Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to offer prayers," Sai remarked.
The Chief Minister also prayed for the well-being of the people of Chhattisgarh, expressing hopes for peace, prosperity, and brotherhood in the region. "We prayed to Baba Mahakal for the peace and prosperity of Chhattisgarh, to maintain brotherhood and that everyone works towards development together," he added.
The Mahakaleshwar Temple, a significant religious site dedicated to Lord Shiva, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and attracts numerous devotees annually, particularly during Savan.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was also in Ujjain, and the two leaders took the opportunity for a courtesy meeting. Raksha Bandhan, a festival honoring the bond between siblings, sees sisters tying rakhis around their brothers' wrists for protection, with brothers giving gifts in return.
