Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde confidently predicted a decisive victory for the BJP-led Mahayuti government in the forthcoming Assembly elections. Speaking exclusively to ANI, Shinde asserted, 'We are going to win the Maharashtra (Assembly elections) with a thumping majority.' He also criticized the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) for their performance during their tenure.
Shinde drew a sharp contrast between the achievements of his government over the past two years and the previous administration's record. 'People in Maharashtra are wise. Compare what they did in two and a half years to what we have accomplished in two years through various development and welfare schemes,' Shinde emphasized.
The Chief Minister also rejected claims that his administration's welfare initiatives were timed for electoral gain. 'We implemented schemes like the Lek Ladaki scheme well in advance, not with an eye on election campaigning,' Shinde stated. He reaffirmed that the benefits of all announced schemes would be fulfilled.
