Sabarmati Express Derails in Uttar Pradesh, No Injuries Reported
The Sabarmati Express train derailed between Kanpur and Bhimsen station in Uttar Pradesh. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Indian Railways quickly evacuated passengers and dispatched aid. An investigation is ongoing.

Early Saturday morning, Sabarmati Express, designated as train number 19168, derailed in a block section between Kanpur and Bhimsen station in Uttar Pradesh. Indian Railways confirmed that there were no injuries at the scene.
In response, Indian Railways swiftly deployed buses to the site to evacuate and transfer passengers to Kanpur. An 8-coach MEMU rake also left at 5:21 AM to support passenger movement to Kanpur.
Initial reports from the train's driver indicate that a boulder struck the engine, causing extensive damage to the engine's cattle guard. The incident is currently under active investigation by the Indian Railways.
