BJP Launches 'Dr Kalam Startup Award' for Minority Youth Entrepreneurs

The BJP Minority Fronts will present the 'Dr Kalam Startup Award' to minority youths on August 12. The award will be presented by senior party leaders and Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju. Ceremonies will be held in 14 states to honor seven minority entrepreneurs from each state.

The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Fronts is all set to launch the 'Dr Kalam Startup Award' on Monday, August 12. The award will be conferred upon minority youths at the BJP Headquarters in a ceremony graced by senior party leaders, including Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and BJP National Minority Morcha chief Jamal Siddiqui.

Awards will also be presented at ceremonies in 14 states nationwide, celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit of seven minority youths from each state. '24,000 minority youths across the country have applied for the award. Award functions will be held in 14 states, selecting seven youths from each state,' said Siddiqui.

In Delhi, the Union Minister, senior BJP leaders, Chairman of the National Minority Commission, and National President of the Minority Front will honor the awardees under the guidance of BJP National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam. 'Following the Prime Minister's directions and in memory of Kalam Sahab's death anniversary, we will honor minority youths. 24,000 applications were received via social media till August 8,' Siddiqui added. Special tribute events were previously organized nationwide on his death anniversary on July 27.
