Farmers in Himachal Pradesh are showing a significant interest in adopting natural farming methods, as highlighted by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla.

Speaking at a two-day international conference on natural farming at Dr. YS Parmar Horticulture and Forestry University in Solan, Shukla emphasized the pride in the state's achievements. He noted that 1.94 lakh farmers from 3,584 panchayats are farming naturally on 34,342 hectares of land.

Governor of Gujarat Acharya Devvrat also praised the contributions of Nauni University and emphasized the central government's efforts to promote these practices nationally. Devvrat underlined the importance of natural farming for future generations and warned against the use of harmful chemicals in agriculture.
