Celebrated actress Shilpa Shetty reaffirms her dedication to Karwa Chauth, a significant festival for Hindu married women, through her vibrant Instagram post. On Saturday evening, Shetty shared an image of her intricately prepared Sargi thali, highlighting the reverence and affection embedded in this cherished tradition.

The Sargi thali, captured in Shetty's post, featured a silver plate with bowls, a decorative sieve, mehendi cones, green bangles, and traditional items like matthi, sweets, and lachcha seviyan. Traditionally, this thali is a symbolic gesture from mothers-in-law to daughters-in-law, featuring makeup, jewellery, clothing, and food to support the day's rigorous fast undertaken before dawn and lasting until moonrise.

In her post, Shetty also displayed her minimalistic yet charming mehndi design. This festival is a testament to marital commitment, as women fast without food or water, breaking it only upon the moon's appearance. In her professional sphere, Shilpa Shetty recently appeared in Amazon Prime Video's 'Indian Police Force', alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi, and is slated to feature in 'KD: The Devil', a film directed by Prem, set in 1970s Bangalore and scheduled for a pan-India release.
