Tensions surrounding seat-sharing within the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance have heightened as Maharashtra heads towards its assembly elections on November 20. Ramesh Chennithala of Congress, Uddhav Thackeray of Shiv Sena (UBT), and NCP's Sharad Pawar met to discuss the issue.
The three parties, part of the INDIA bloc, are struggling to reach a consensus, with the Samajwadi Party already declaring candidates for five key constituencies. Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena (UBT) emphasized the pivotal role of regional parties in the current national political scene.
Chennithala assured that differences over the allocation of seats will be resolved shortly. As candidates prepare their nominations, the MVA alliance remains focused on finding an amicable solution to preserve unity and strengthen its electoral strategy.
