Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra Challenge ED Eviction Notices
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have challenged ED's eviction notices in the Bombay High Court, relating to a money-laundering case. They argue the notices are arbitrary and illegal, and seek relief on humanitarian grounds, as their home is unrelated to the alleged Bitcoin fraud case.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her businessman husband Raj Kundra have taken legal action against eviction notices issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The couple has moved the Bombay High Court, contesting the orders to vacate their Mumbai and Pune residences, linked to a money-laundering investigation.
Their plea was heard on Wednesday by Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Prithviraj Chavan, who have notified the ED and set a follow-up hearing for Thursday. The couple's petitions argue that the ED's September 27 notices, compelling them to leave their homes within ten days, lack legal grounds and urgency.
The couple, represented by advocate Prashant Patil, claims that the properties are unrelated to the alleged Bitcoin fraud the ED is investigating. They stress that they have not been accused in the case, despite Kundra being summoned for questioning. The notices, they argue, pose undue hardship as they've resided at these homes for nearly two decades.
