Telugu traditions and culture took center stage at Times Square as community members celebrated their heritage in a vibrant cultural festival. Dance, art forms, and traditional performances captivated attendees over the weekend.

Organized by the Telugu Literary and Cultural Association (TLCA), a 53-year-old non-profit representing the Indian-American Telugu community, this historic event marked the first TLCA cultural festival held at the iconic location.

The celebration highlighted the rich traditions, language, and arts of the Telugu-speaking community, featuring 35 performances that included classical music recitals and dances like Kuchipudi. Traditional textiles, paintings, and sculptures were displayed, aiming to preserve and promote Telugu culture for younger generations.
