Arrest Made After Attack on Jewish Students at University of Pittsburgh
An individual was arrested following an attack on Jewish students at the University of Pittsburgh. Two students received minor injuries. The suspect, who does not have ties to the university, was detained. University officials are working with Jewish community leaders and have assured that antisemitism will not be tolerated.

An individual was apprehended after an assault on a group of Jewish students at the University of Pittsburgh campus, according to a statement from the school.
The incident resulted in minor injuries to two students, who were treated on the scene. The suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed, wielded a bottle during the attack near the Cathedral of Learning, as stated in the announcement on Friday.
"The alleged perpetrator, who has no known Pitt affiliation, was immediately arrested by Pitt Police and is in custody," the statement read. Information regarding the charges against the suspect has yet to be released.
University officials are in communication with the Hillel University Centre and the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.
Authorities confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public and have made counseling services available.
"To be clear: Neither acts of violence nor antisemitism will be tolerated," the university declared. "Local and federal partners are aiding Pitt Police in this ongoing investigation."
