In a significant revelation, actress Revathy Sampath has leveled serious accusations of sexual misconduct against veteran Malayalam actor Siddique. Sampath, in a recent media interaction, disclosed that the alleged incident occurred when she was just 21 years old, with Siddique initially reaching out to her on Facebook.
Revathy detailed the harrowing experience, stating, "After completing my Plus Two, I had a terrible experience. Siddique sent me messages on Facebook. During a discussion about a film, he sexually abused me. The face he shows now is not the one I saw back then." She accused Siddique of both physical and mental abuse, which severely impacted her professional life and caused her immense mental trauma.
The actress recounted her escape from the situation, explaining, "I ran away to escape. I responded as best as I could at that age. He said there was nothing I could do. I fled, managed to get into an auto, and escaped." Siddique, known for his roles in over 300 Malayalam movies and various Tamil films, has yet to respond to these allegations.
