Producer Ektaa R Kapoor emphasized that women would feel safe at the workplace only if given equal opportunities and leadership roles. She was responding to the Justice Hema Committee report highlighting sexual exploitation in the Malayalam film industry.

During the trailer launch of her new production 'The Buckingham Murders,' Kapoor urged for conscious efforts to create a safe working environment for women. 'It's crucial to have women in top positions and for women to take the initiative,' she said, adding, 'creating a safe environment involves women leading professional environments.'

The Kerala film industry faces a major controversy following the report, and many actresses have come forward with harassment allegations.
