Tamil Nadu's Srivaru Motors has introduced the new PRANA 2.0 electric motorcycle, priced at Rs 2.55 lakh. The Coimbatore-based company aims to sell 10,000 units domestically and plans to expand to ASEAN countries.

CEO Mohanraj Ramasamy highlighted that the PRANA 2.0 includes over 100 new components compared to its predecessor. The company's facility in Sulur will produce around 2,000 units monthly. Additionally, Srivaru Motors launched the PRANA Elite, priced at Rs 3.20 lakh, offering a range of 250 km on a single charge.

Ramasamy revealed plans for a retail network of less than 100 branches and noted Tamil Nadu's significant contribution to India's electric vehicle market. He also announced upcoming electric scooters under the brand 'ALIVE.'
