On the poignant occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post. Accompanied by a nostalgic video of Sushant expressing his aspirations to be both a good actor and an exceptional human being, Shweta's post resonated with fans and followers.

In her touching message, Shweta wrote, 'Happy Raksha Bandhan to my lovely brother, hope you always stay happy and protected in higher realms in the company of Gods (red heart emoji).' It has been over three years since Sushant's tragic passing on June 14, 2020, when he was discovered lifeless at his Bandra home.

Marking his fourth death anniversary this June, Shweta voiced her demand for justice, amidst ongoing investigations by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Speaking to ANI, she reaffirmed her faith in the government's judicial system, stating, 'I have a lot of hope. That is why we have gathered so that we can demand justice. I have full faith in our government and judicial system. And I have a feeling that we'll get to know what has happened.'

Shweta emotionally reflected on Sushant's state before his demise, recalling, 'He was fine till the 13th. However, he was a little scared. I know everyone's prayer will come true. Definitely, one day we will get the answer to all the questions.'

The actor, who left the world at 34, began his illustrious career with television shows such as 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil' and gained massive recognition for his role in 'Pavitra Rishta'. Transitioning to cinema, Sushant starred in critically acclaimed movies including 'Kai Po Che', 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story', 'Shuddh Desi Romance', 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!', 'Chhichhore', and 'Dil Bechara'.'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' marked a significant milestone in his career, propelling him to stardom.

His final film, 'Dil Bechara', directed by Mukesh Chhabra and co-starring Sanjana Sanghi, was an official remake of the novel 'The Fault in Our Stars' and enjoyed an OTT release, leaving an indelible mark on his fans and the entertainment industry. (ANI)
