Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut revealed her aspiration to work with the three Khans of Bollywood—Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan—both in producing and directing a film showcasing their talent. Speaking to the media, she expressed her eagerness to highlight not only their acting prowess but also their societal impact.
Ranaut praised the Khans for their significant contributions to Bollywood's revenue and their wide-reaching engagement with the public. She also regretted never having the opportunity to direct the late Irrfan Khan, whom she greatly admired.

The film, entirely helmed by Ranaut, features a versatile cast, including Anupam Kher and Mahima Chaudhary. Produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, 'Emergency' is set during the politically tumultuous period of 1975 and aims to offer a gripping cinematic experience.
