Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada on Wednesday urged the pharmaceuticals industry to bolster exports and capitalize on burgeoning opportunities for growth.
Prasada highlighted India's standing as the 'pharmacy of the world' and stressed the importance of focusing on the strengths of the generic sector, as well as ensuring backward and forward linkages.
''The minister urged the industry to prioritize innovation, quality, and global market engagement. International competitiveness will be paramount,'' declared the commerce ministry in a statement.
