ONE WORLD FUSION 2024: A Vibrant Celebration of Unity in Music

Sangitanjaly Foundation, in collaboration with Telangana Tourism and the Government of Telangana, recently hosted ONE WORLD FUSION 2024 to aid Autism Ashram. The event featured a diverse array of artists and genres, beautifully harmonizing to celebrate India's 78th Independence Day at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad.

Sangitanjaly Foundation, alongside Telangana Tourism and the Government of Telangana, recently hosted ONE WORLD FUSION 2024 to support Autism Ashram. Dr. Mammidi Harikrishna, Director of Language and Culture, inaugurated the event, emphasizing its representation of national unity through diverse musical traditions.

'The One World Fusion event is a symbol of national unity, featuring artists from various regions harmonizing like a rainbow. This celebration of Independence Day incorporates different genres and instruments,' said Dr. Harikrishna.

The concert featured a mix of Western, Indian, and Bollywood music, with spontaneous improvisations maintaining musical aesthetics. The event started with a fusion piece from the GiMA Award-winning album 'Rhythm Express,' followed by performances of 'Within You,' 'Romance,' and the Grammy-winning 'Meeting by the River.'

Grammy award-winner Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and Grammy Jury member Pt. Prodyut Mukherjee elevated the concert with their performances. Bollywood hits by Ujjayinee Roy and Kishore Sodha added to the allure, alongside contributions from Vinod Rathod and co-singer Chandni Mukherjee.

The event culminated in a powerful rendition of 'Vande Mataram,' with the audience joining in, celebrating India's 78th Independence Day. The program concluded with the national anthem.
