Namo Bharat Trains Introduce Convenient Power Bank Rental Service for Commuters

Namo Bharat trains are now offering a power bank rental service for Rs 50 at Sahibabad RRTS station. The power banks cater to various devices and can be rented and returned at multiple stations across the NCR. The service aims to address commuters' mobile charging needs and will expand to more stations.

Passengers traveling on Namo Bharat trains can now rent a power bank with rental plans starting at Rs 50, as announced by the NCRTC.

The first service is available at Sahibabad RRTS station. Future plans include electric vehicle charging facilities at various stations. The power bank comes with three types of charging pins to accommodate different devices including iPhones, micro USB, and C-port connections. The rental plans start at Rs 50, with an annual plan available for Rs 1,199. Commuters can rent a power bank during their journey, returning it at any similar machine across the NCR.

The rental power bank facility addresses the rising need for mobile phone charging and will soon be expanded to other RRTS stations. The service is run by 'DB-RRTS Operations India'. Passengers can rent a power bank from designated machines that have been installed at multiple locations. The app 'A3 Charge' guides users to the nearest power bank machine, where they can scan a QR code to access a power bank. The app provides real-time information on power bank availability at each machine, ensuring a seamless user experience.
