The police posted alerts, indicating that traffic was heavily affected on both carriageways of National Highway-48 from Dhaula Kuan to Mahipalpur. Similar disruptions were reported on Press Enclave Road, Ring Road, and several other key routes.

Significant traffic delays were noted at multiple points, including Birla Vidya Niketan Marg in Saket, where an uprooted tree caused congestion. Commuters took to social media to express their frustrations, noting severe delays in areas like Safdarjung, Khanpur, Moti Bagh, and Chhattarpur.
