Chennai's Big Bang Boom Solutions Expands Internationally, Eyes Europe Next

India's fastest-growing defense startup, Big Bang Boom Solutions, is set to expand operations to Africa and Europe, showcasing its anti-drone systems. BBBS, a 7-time iDEX winner, anticipates its first international order this quarter, while maintaining strong ties with the Indian Armed Forces.

Big Bang Boom Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (BBBS), India's rapidly growing defense start-up based in Chennai, is set to broaden its reach internationally. Known for its prowess in defense technology, BBBS has secured significant interest from countries in Africa, including Kenya, Algeria, Tanzania, and Mozambique, primarily for its Anti-Drone Defence System.

BBBS recently demonstrated their Anti-Drone Defence System abroad, leading to an uptick in international interest. The start-up, which has been awarded India's largest defense contract under the iDex programme—a 210 Crore deal with the Indian Army and Air Force—is set to fulfill its first international order within the current quarter. Expressing excitement, Dr. R. Shivaraman, Director and CTO, emphasized the significance of this milestone, indicating Europe as the next target market.

Besides their anti-drone systems, BBBS has also garnered attention for their cybersecurity products, including indigenous IMSI Catcher and Lawful Interception solutions. Close collaboration with the Indian Armed Forces and showcasing their technology to Mozambique's National Criminal Investigation Service has bolstered BBBS's reputation. The visiting Mozambican representatives were impressed, and significant orders are expected. Founded by Dr. Shiva and Praveen Dwarakanath, Big Bang Boom Solutions continues to innovate in various defense fields, making waves in both national and international markets.
