Mahindra Group and Israel's Sentrycs Ltd on Friday announced the signing of a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at developing and providing 'differentiated anti-drone solutions' in India.

According to a joint statement, these solutions will cater to both civilian and military applications. The focus will be on the Transfer of Technology (TOT) and manufacturing of radio frequency-based counter-drone technology under the Indian government's 'Make in India' initiative.

This autonomous and integrated anti-drone system is equipped with a command and control (C2) module, enabling detection, tracking, identification, and mitigation of incoming threats. Vinod Sahay, Mahindra President, Aerospace & Defence Sector, emphasized that the partnership would facilitate cutting-edge technological offerings for anti-drone solutions across applications.
