Patel Engineering, in collaboration with its joint venture partner, has landed a significant irrigation project worth Rs 317.60 crore from the Maharashtra government.

Patel Engineering's share in this project is 35%, amounting to Rs 111.16 crore, the company announced.

The project includes construction work for water lifting arrangement, civil, mechanical, electrical components, and allied works at Jigaon. The timeline for completion is 24 months.

"We are committed to ensuring the project's successful and timely completion. This will significantly boost agricultural productivity and enhance water management in the region," said Kavita Shirvaikar, Acting Managing Director, Patel Engineering.

The Mumbai-based EPC firm is renowned for its expertise in tunnels and underground works for hydroelectric and dam projects.
