Kinetic Green, a prominent electric vehicle maker, revealed on Wednesday its ongoing efforts to introduce a family-oriented e-scooter within the next one-and-a-half years. Contrary to exploring the electric motorcycle market, the company is strategically steering towards the more favorable scooter and three-wheeler segments.
Speaking at a media roundtable, Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Kinetic Green's Founder and CEO, highlighted the company's ambitious goal of achieving a topline revenue of Rs 10,000 crore by 2030. She noted that 60 percent of this target is anticipated to come from the two-wheeler segment, driven by the company's robust 'Vision 3.0' strategy to scale operations.
Motwani emphasized the infusion of USD 25 million from Greater Pacific Capital, part of a larger USD 40 million Series A round, which will fuel the company's R&D, production scaling at its Supa, Maharashtra facility, and marketing initiatives. Additionally, Kinetic Green plans a global expansion, notably with its premium golf cart range created in partnership with the Lamborghini family.
