DION Electric Vehicles Launches New E-Scooter Models in Chennai

DION Electric Vehicles, a brand of Powertrans Mobility Ltd, has launched two new e-scooter models, Augusta SP and Asta FH, and opened a showroom in Chennai. The launch event featured key figures from the government and industry. Both models boast high performance, advanced features, and efficient charging.

DION Electric Vehicles, a subsidiary of Powertrans Mobility Ltd, has introduced two innovative e-scooter models—Augusta SP and Asta FH—unveiling them at a newly opened showroom in Chennai.

The launch was graced by Thiru. T. M. Anbarasan, Minister of MSME and Tamil Nadu Urban Habitation Development Board, and Thiru. Mano Thangaraj, Minister of Milk & Dairy Development.

Both models claim top-tier performance, featuring advanced PMSM hub motors, enhanced safety systems, and efficient charging. The Augusta SP, priced at Rs 1,79,750, boasts a top speed of 120 kmph, while the Asta FH, costing Rs 1,29,999, promises robust performance.
