Turkey's National Intelligence Agency head, Ibrahim Kalin, engaged in crucial talks with Hamas leadership in Ankara to facilitate Gaza ceasefire negotiations, according to state broadcaster TRT.
Turkey has strongly condemned Israel's offensive on Gaza, which followed a deadly Hamas attack on Oct. 7. The conflict resulted in extensive casualties, including over 41,000 Palestinian deaths as per Gaza's health ministry.
Through intensive diplomatic efforts, Turkey's intelligence agency is coordinating with involved parties such as Hamas, Israel, Qatar, and the United States, striving for a ceasefire in the region, TRT reported.
