Optiemus Electronics Ventures into Telecom Equipment Manufacturing

Optiemus Electronics announced its entry into telecom equipment manufacturing, partnering with Tejas Networks to produce a range of telecom products at its Noida facility. Optiemus Electronics announced on Tuesday its entry into the telecom equipment manufacturing sector, reinforcing its commitment to boosting domestic production within the country.

Partnering with Tejas Networks, Optiemus aims to manufacture a variety of telecom equipment—from 4G Base Band Units to broadband switches—at its Noida facility. The move aligns with India's drive towards self-reliance and enhanced domestic manufacturing capacity.

A Gururaj, Managing Director of Optiemus Electronics, highlighted the company's readiness to support Tejas Networks in this endeavor, complementing the national 'Make in India' initiative. V Sembian, Chief Supply Chain Officer of Tejas Networks, stated that this partnership signifies a significant step in the ongoing pursuit of Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).
