Flutter Entertainment, a leading global online sports betting and iGaming operator, announced the inauguration of their new Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The initiative sees an investment of USD 3.5 million.

The facility, located at RMZ Spire in Knowledge City, already employs over 700 staff members, the company confirmed in an official statement.

'The Hyderabad GCC is designed to foster creativity and growth and strengthen our presence in the Indian employment and skills market,' stated Phil Bishop, COO of Flutter Entertainment.

With plans to hire for data analytics and engineering roles, the company aims to increase its workforce to 900 by the end of 2024.

'We aim to grow while maintaining a challenger mindset and leading the sector globally. India presents a significant opportunity for our business,' said Ashish Sinha, Managing Director of Flutter Entertainment India. 'This expansion aligns with our global vision of Changing the Game by enabling continuous improvement in product and technology across iGaming and sports betting.'
