Arsenal's injury concerns are escalating just days before their crucial Premier League showdown against Liverpool. Key attackers Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka, along with defender Jurrien Timber, are already injured, and now left back Riccardo Calafiori is sidelined after twisting his knee during Tuesday's 1-0 Champions League victory over Shakhtar Donetsk.
Manager Mikel Arteta expressed his concerns regarding Calafiori's condition, stating, "He felt something, he could not continue playing." Additionally, center back William Saliba is set to miss the Liverpool game, serving a suspension after receiving a red card in the recent loss to Bournemouth.
Odegaard, who captains the team, is still recovering from an ankle injury suffered last month, casting doubt on his participation. Meanwhile, Saka's involvement remains uncertain, as he has not yet resumed training after injuring his hamstring on England duty. Arteta noted, "He wasn't able to train yet, so that's unlikely."
