Cristiano Ronaldo is adamant about focusing on team success over personal accolades at his Saudi club, Al Nassr. The 39-year-old football icon, a five-time Ballon d'Or winner, contributed a crucial goal in Al Nassr's 2-1 triumph over Qatar's Al Rayyan in an AFC Champions League Group B match on Monday.

This victory marks the fourth consecutive win for Al Nassr under the guidance of newly appointed coach Stefano Pioli. 'It was a strong and difficult match like all the matches in the AFC Champions League, but the most important thing is that we created many chances and defended well to prevent the opponent from creating easy chances,' Ronaldo noted during a press conference.

Ronaldo, who became the top scorer in a single Saudi Pro League season last May with 35 goals, reiterated his focus on team achievements. 'It is not important anymore whether I am the best or not... The most important thing for me now is to enjoy and help Al Nassr and my teammates to win,' he emphasized. Ronaldo also paid tribute to his late father in scoring his 901st career goal, stating it would have made him proud.
