Grace Brown Triumphs at World Cycling Championships

Olympic champion Grace Brown clinched the women's time trial title at the cycling world championships in Switzerland. The 32-year-old Australian completed the 29.9-kilometer course in 39 minutes, 16 seconds, finishing 17 seconds ahead of Demi Vollering and 56 seconds ahead of Chloe Dygert. Brown also had a stellar year, winning the national championship and Liège–Bastogne–Liège classic.

Olympic champion Grace Brown finally claimed the women's time trial title at the cycling world championships held on Sunday in Switzerland.

The 32-year-old Australian cyclist, who had previously finished as the runner-up for the past two years, completed the 29.9-kilometer course from Gossau to Zurich in an impressive 39 minutes and 16 seconds. She finished 17 seconds ahead of Dutch competitor Demi Vollering and 56 seconds ahead of last year's champion, American Chloe Dygert, who also took the third spot in the time trial at the Paris Olympics last month.

Adding to her accolades this year, Brown was also crowned national champion and triumphed at the prestigious Liège–Bastogne–Liège classic, where Vollering had to settle for third place.
