The initiative, unveiled by industry partners, aims to raise awareness among manufacturers and factory owners about responsible waste disposal to prevent environmental pollution.
Hulladek has collaborated with six companies, including Emami Ltd and Diamond Beverages Pvt Ltd, to manage their e-waste following Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) guidelines, the recycling firm stated from its city base.
The project aspires to process 2,000 metric tonnes of e-waste by the end of FY'25 and plans to expand its collection network nationwide through strategic partnerships to enhance public awareness.
''Project Vishwakarma emphasises the safe and responsible disposal of electronic devices and machinery. We aim to drive behavioural change in the industrial sector, educating businesses about the hazards of improper waste disposal and the long-term benefits of recycling,'' said Nandan Mall, Founder & CMD of Hulladek Recycling.
