In a decisive day for qualification, SAI triumphed over the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CDT) with a convincing 5-1 victory, earning second place in Pool A with 9 points, trailing behind the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board. Scorers for SAI were Lalit Negi, Neeraj, Pankaj, and Rajat Minz, while CDT managed a single goal from Nachappa Ir.

The Steel Plants Sports Board clinched their quarterfinal spot from Pool B after a dramatic 3-3 draw with Dena Bank, thanks to a last-minute penalty corner conversion by Pradhan Somanna Pudiyokkada Somaiah. The match saw pivotal goals from Chandanda Aiyanna Nikkin Thimmaiah and Somanna Km for Dena Bank and Dilbar Barla, Bara Rabi, and Abdul Qadir for the Steel Plants Sports Board.
