Thrilling Victories at Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship Day 5

Punjab National Bank, Comptroller & Auditor General of India, Sports Authority of India, and Canara Bank achieved dominant wins on the fifth day of the Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship, with significant contributions from Somaiah Kuppanda and Gursimran Singh. Pool C showcased two dramatic draws.

Punjab National Bank, Comptroller & Auditor General of India, Sports Authority of India, and Canara Bank secured comfortable victories on Day 5 of the Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship held on Monday.

In Pool A, SAI narrowly defeated Central Secretariat 2-1. Pool B saw Canara Bank thrash Sports Authority of Gujarat - Hockey Team 6-0, highlighted by Somaiah Kuppanda's hat-trick.

In Pool D, CAGI overcame Central Reserve Police Force 4-2, while PNB routed Central Industrial Security Force 5-0, courtesy of Gursimran Singh's hat-trick. In Pool C, Sahastra Seema Bal and Tamil Nadu Police played to a thrilling 3-3 draw, and Food Corporation of India and Services Sports Control Board drew 1-1.
