Loic Serra to Lead Ferrari's Chassis Division Starting October

Loic Serra will assume the role of Ferrari's chassis technical director starting in October, the Formula One team announced Thursday. This appointment follows the resignation of Enrico Cardile in July, prompting team principal Frederic Vasseur to temporarily oversee the chassis division.

Serra, who currently serves as performance director at Mercedes, was initially set to lead Ferrari's chassis performance engineering under Cardile. He will now report directly to Vasseur, according to a statement from Ferrari.

Italian media report that Cardile may be moving to rival team Aston Martin.
