Heavy rainfall disrupted the Paralympic road cycling events, leading to a one-hour delay, organisers confirmed on Thursday.

The men's race, initially intended to span four laps, will now be contested over three laps and is rescheduled to commence at 0830 GMT.

The women's race will begin at 0835 GMT following the revised schedule.
