Harmanpreet Kaur will lead a 15-member Indian squad in the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup in the UAE, starting October 3. This was announced on Tuesday.

Yastika Bhatia and Shreyanka Patil have been included in the squad, pending their fitness clearance. Smriti Mandhana has been named as the vice-captain.

The ICC event has been relocated from Bangladesh to the UAE due to unrest in the South Asian nation following a series of student protests. India, placed in Group A with Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, will aim for their first T20 World Cup trophy.
